Glass fusing is one of the most rewarding art experiences you’ll find near Lansing or East Lansing—and Art Unlimited makes it accessible for everyone. At our Okemos glass fusing studio, you’ll choose a base glass piece, then layer and arrange colorful glass on top to build your own unique design. No experience required; our staff helps with design ideas and every step of the process.
When you’re happy with your arrangement, we fire the piece in our kiln, fusing the layers together into a gorgeous finished work of art. Ready in about a week!
How Glass Fusing Works
1. Choose Your Base Piece
Select from a range of base glass sizes and shapes. Prices range from $15 to $60, and include all glass materials and kiln firing. The larger the base, the more space you have to create!
2. Design Your Pattern
Layer colorful glass pieces up to two layers above your base. Our team will help you plan a composition that fires beautifully, whether you prefer bold geometric patterns, nature-inspired designs, or free-form creativity.
3. Fire & Finish
We handle the kiln firing. Add-on options let you shape your finished piece into a functional form.
